What is life Insurance?
Life insurance offers cover for you or your whole family, paying a lump sum to your loved ones in the event of your death or diagnosis of a terminal illness
How regularly do I need to make payments?
You can pay fortnightly, monthly or annually.
Can I access my payment early?
If you are diagnosed with a terminal illness and given less than a year to live, you can apply to access the full amount you are insured for early.
Do I have to pay to use CoverNZ?
CoverNZ is compensated by the insurance companies, meaning there are no fees or charges for our clients.
Is my policy with CoverNZ or the insurance company?
All policies are contracts between you and the insurance company. CoverNZ acts as your insurance adviser but is not an insurance provider.
Are the policy benefits guaranteed?
Once your policy is accepted with full disclosure, your benefits are guaranteed. The insurer cannot cancel the policy unless premiums are unpaid, or a material fact was not disclosed at the time of application.
